Not every industrial control panel needs a full-size keyboard with a separate numeric keypad. D-8606T offers an alternative for equipment manufacturers who need direct access to standard keyboard functions while keeping the operator panel organized around other essential controls.
With dedicated F1–F12 keys and an integrated touchpad, operators can access assigned software functions, enter commands and control the cursor from one fixed interface. This arrangement is well suited to machinery and control consoles where keyboard operation is important, but a separate numeric keypad is not a priority.

Please review the following operating characteristics, environmental limitations and delivery details before selecting D-8606T for your equipment.
Key Press Force
The metal keys require slightly more pressing force than those on a typical office keyboard. This provides a firmer typing feel, which operators should consider if frequent or prolonged typing is required.
Environmental Limitations
D-8606T is not recommended for environments with heavy oil contamination, persistent moisture or exposure to corrosive substances. Its IP65 rating applies to the front surface only and does not mean the keyboard is suitable for all harsh environments.
Key Repeat Behavior
By default, holding down a key produces repeated inputs, similar to a standard computer keyboard. If your application requires only one input per press, please inform us before ordering so we can confirm the required configuration.
What's Included
The standard package includes the keyboard only. Mounting tools, screws and other installation accessories are not included unless separately agreed upon before ordering.
