When panel space is restricted but a dedicated industrial keyboard is still required, the D-8656 provides a smaller 65-key stainless steel solution in a 270 × 100 mm panel-mount format. It features a 304 stainless steel front panel, rear mounting structure, USB or PS/2 connectivity and IP65 front-surface protection.

Vandal-Resistant Industrial Keyboard
D-8656 combines stainless steel keys with a robust metal panel construction for public-access and industrial equipment where resistance to frequent use, attempted damage and routine cleaning matters. IP65 protection applies to the exposed front operating surface, helping shield the keyboard from dust and water ingress on the user-facing side.
The 65-key layout keeps familiar alphanumeric input while using an Fn key to access F1–F12 functions without adding a separate function-key row. In addition to the standard stainless steel finish, black electroplated and Braille-marked versions can be specified for projects that require a different appearance or improved accessibility.
